more good news!!

http://www.rib.net/forum/f19/some-good-news-66610.html

morning all, it's a good news day!! it's over 6 six years since I was first diagnosed with bowel cancer, after the odd operation, a touch of chemo, numerous CT & MRI scans, and along the way being diagnosed with lung cancer, I wasn't expecting that one, but a minor lung op sorted that out! well, at last I've been discharged by the consultant with "no sign of local recurrence or distant metastatic spread" other than regular 5 yearly scans! can't knock the NHS, everyone I've met throughout my treatment have been fantastic!!

I think it might be beer o'clock

Yup... I agree ..as I too have spent the past year or so with heath issues. I still attend hospital every two weeks and have three monthly scans ..its for my liver which was on its way out. Its almost brand new again..and its all due to the NHS care. I have not a bad word to say about any of them. My only complain was the time it took to get my initial tests..the waiting list is still terrible.. that is nothing to do with the staff though … and once the hospitals get a hold of you ..they work wonders

Its great to be alive and kicking so make the most of it
