Anyone know where's good for scallops in The Solent please and how to catch them without diving and wrecking the seabed?

To be honest I don't know, but when I've been fishing I have loved it, ok it's only been for a couple of hours and then off for a cruise, but its always been well worth it

Great show again reality of how dangerous it is was shown when he almost went over.

A bad dose of sea sickness is no joke. I have fed the sea gulls on may an occasion. I have to say he had my pity when I saw him sick again but he did well to stick with it

First time I've watched it and I was pleasantly suprised about how genuine and down to earth he seemed. Also interesting to see that 48 hrs should see someone overcome mal de mer.

A great programme again and I thought the footage of the net reaping the seabed was enlightening, however I didn't think the programme really zoomed in and showed the unwanted that gets thrown overboard and probably dead too, such a waste so let's hope that comes across in later programmes.

It crazy throwing back all that quality fish but it's like most things where there are muppets with no idea telling the experts how to carry on

I know, I thought Hugh's fish fight showed the terrible situation in more light, especially when the boss man couldn't name the fish... Classic!

You should read Redmond O'Hanlon's "Trawler". He was prostrate for the first 24 hours - gutting fish for the rest of the trip. In a F11/12
