Akershally I think the Exploder is the best selling SUV in the US. (The best selling vehicle overall is the Ford F150 Truck). It is a bag of shite though as most American built vehicles are. Apart from the engine which is built in Cologne! Mate of mine has one, his second actually. Only saving grace is that the first one saved his life when he managed to flip both car and boat & trailer on the A127 at 60mph!

As for towing. Dan (TBD) must be getting a monster RIB if he needs more than an L200 to tow it Unless he is aiming for the Phil Davies "Towing vehicle massively out of proportion to boat" chic!

Still I think Dan should get the 110. And wait 12 weeks for those Solihull craftsmen to delicately assembly it with a lump hammer! Process repeatability? Not with that panel fit my son.

Speaking as an ardent fan of my 110... I have to agree with you.. .. 'cept my panels are a perfect fit.......where they touch, anyway...

All LR owners know everyone in the garage by there first name,.... and all the local recovery people.......... In fact they can be seen drinking tea in the waiting area, quite often ...

My sister lives in the back of beyond's in scotland..... everyone drives a subaru awd....... when they first moved there they bought a 15 year old one with close to 200k on the clock ......700 job( even his sister is a pikey!!) it never gave any trouble for 2 years until the snow plough couldnt see in a pile of snow , and drove over it..... and the local subaru garage is 60 miles away !!! LR has a garage 12 miles away ......GO FIGURE THAT ONE !

[QUOTE=TIM] L 200 tows 4500kg no problem !

If you towed 4500kg with an L200 you should be locked up before you kill someone

Couldn't disagree with that one! Last week, the courtesy car people asked if I wanted it delivered to my works... as usual?

Yeah I use to do it at about 4-5 times a month ... you know, moving diggers around.. not on Motorway I might add , and not over 35 mph

Have now bought a truck..... because my luck was going to run out sometime... It was OK thought.... stoping was the one to watch thought..... I Park my digger in a yard with a 300 yard 30deg slope out of it..... and no distance to get a run at it... L200 pulled it up everytime..... low ratio though.
