S=3 all other numbers are between 0-9 no two different numbers have the same value, find a value for each number that balances this out.
EG S+S=R, S=3 means R=6 The sum is addition

Yep d = 1 as it is a carry over and cannot = more that 1

I forgot the answer myself, I have to work it out each time.

Hi John, I learned that one when I first worked in Electronics Factory for summer work some 30 years ago. Still remember it. Also the Mosquito issue I first qustioned also 20 years ago nearly. Imagine carrying all this responsibility all this time...When I posd it to our family doctor as a what if thing, he laughed at me Ignorant fec...er
He wasnt much of a doctor either.

I have another few which I must put up...In good time...
