Marine Boy. A Nostalgia Trip

Just found this. I loved Marine Boy as a little tacker, it inspired me to take up snorkling at a very young age.

You too eh? I saw these a couple of years back. I'd actually completely forgotten about it. But when I heard it, I was suddenly wrenched 40 years into the past, sitting on the so very big sofa, glued to the black and white TV. Man...

was his secret of how to breath underwater from what I can remember lol.

& If you were really lucky you could also catch the undersea world of Jacques Cousteau who was on at 7.30 back in the early 70s ,
Some of their diving equipment were very much advanced even in 1971 by today's standards .
Think he was probelly Zodiac inflatables best advert .

I started diving because of Hans and Lotte Hass. In B&W on my electric far-seeing machine. This was, of course, when there was still something to see underwater.
