Macmillan Awards 2015

Don't worry it wasn't a brain washing session

This was the 1st Macmillan conference to bring volunteers and Macmillan Staff together

It was very good

Thanks dudes

There were a lot of people from committees there, I went on three training courses. One was about twitter which was delivered by the macmillan social media guy and it was great.

I now have my own twitter account @CustomRib where I will be tweeting about this years fund raising!!!

Don't forget that the Round Isle of White is on 5th July 2015

I also put our point across about Macmillan not having any flags and everyone agreed, I told them about the flags that you lot made and how great they were.

Also spoke to the CEO of Macmillan and she really liked the idea of our funding a nurse for a year and I said that this should be a recognised mile stone

A judge from the awards panel said that there were 100's of nominations but we really did stand out

Back to work now....

Should have said to them about employing people who have had cancer, they have a far better insight
