I once asked an IT consultant friend why he thought that forums like Ribnet were populated by so many IT bods, to which he replied that the typical content of an IT related job is so tedious that many of them simply spend large amounts of the day (or night in the case of you, Codders) surfing the internet. I confess to knowing sod all about computers, but I must say I really couldn't cope with being trapped behind one day in, day out.

Couldn't agree more - as there is always a net connection wherever I am I connect remotely into our own servers whilst waiting for stuff to install - reboot etc.

I used to love computers - now I would far rather lie under my LandRover tinkering!!!

Fortunately things are starting to get to the stage where I will be able to do more directoring(running the company) and less actual problem solving - I hope!!!

L You think that's bad? Try dealing with someone who says they want to "ax you a question" or when giving change on a transaction refers to mutiples of coin as "25 cent". Congrats to the U.S. educational system! I don't pretend to be the most literate of individuals regarding the English language but this kind of crap really is irksome!

You'll go grey (or is that gray?) before your time. Life's too short.

People who use "myself" instead of the perfectly good "ME" wind me upmore than simple spelling mistakes, using myself in the context of "MYself and John went ribbing" actually makes you (not YOURSELF lol) look like an arse.Seeing as it should be John and I weant ribbing anyway.
