looking to have boat transported down south?

any recomendations on who to use? idea of costs involved,
wish to move my quicksilver 640 from mine head to to plymouth, i could supply trailer, but i no longer have my range rover to tow the bloody thing, needs taking out sat coming and deliverd sun am shorestore boat yard plymouth,,

or would it just be cheaper to hire a 4x4 for weekend,
many thanks for any assistance given.

You could try and get a weekend test drive of a 4x4 from a dealership stating that you wanted to see how it towed your wifes horse box etc for example hence the need to test drive one fitted with a towbar. Or alternatively car swap with a mate.

i know of 2 peeps wid 4x4 and i dont think there looked after enougth to trust them,
fussy git i know, but an old hammerd 200 disco,,, or a bmw diesel p38 range that will snuff it up them hills they over heat just thinking about it, new i should not of sold me 4.6 guzzler
