London Boat Show

I have just received an e mail from the RYA offering tickets for the show---

RYA Members can buy tickets, at the special discounted price of 12* for any day of the show including Preview day. To book your tickets, visit the London Boat Show ticket website or call the ticket hotline on 0871 230 7140, quoting 'RYA12' And don't forget 'Kids Go Free' - up to two children, aged 15 or under, can enter free with each adult ticket.

*A transaction fee of 1.75 will be included when booking in advance, this is per transaction not per ticket. Calls charged at national rate.

I dont think this is the best price BUT have you seen the transaction fees they are adding

Aren't they supposed to be banning transaction fees like this?
Or is this not on Credit cards??

One word describes our day:-

Disappointed

Basically there is far less there than in the past, with large gaps between the stands, and some of the bigger names not even there.
It wasn't even busy, which was obviously good for the punters, but I'd imagine a nightmare for the exhibitors.

They had obviously tried to fill some of the empty space, as there were loads of non-boating stands around - yes, even more than usual - and a large arera of the 'boats' hall was taken up with an assortment of fake antique stands and something to do with luxury cars.

The only good bit was the long chat we had with Simon from C-Fury.

This is the 3rd year in a row we've been up, and we won't be going again for a while.

Nasher.

Ditto, it wasn't really worth the effort and expense.
