Because these conditions have never been created before, Its going to be interesting to see whats going to change about particle physics, once some results start to appear and explain previously unknown facts about this subject. I'm not big up the knowledge, but it would be fascinating if what we learn sheds light on new methods of power generation for example in the nuclear industry, perhaps helping the fusion reactor programs already under way
And lets not forget that the WWW was invented at Cern by Tim Berners Lee - most people actually say "The internet" when they mean the World Wide Web!!!
