Is there a doctor in the house?

Because I am getting seriously worried about the mental health of some forum members, specifically regarding the outbreak of multiple personality disorders. This seems to have originated when members of one well-known boat forum migrated to another well-known boat forum. Well, this would have been quite easily remedied if JK had given/sold his membership list to JF: no need to register twice (and hence no danger of a person taking on an additional, very often DIFFERENT persona!). Examples of patients with this disease or showing symptoms:

1. 'jackeen' & 'jackeen & missus' (who obviously do not know how to use capital letters) & Mrs Jackeen (who obviously does)

2. 'MeMe' & 'MeMe II'

This last example provides evidence that once the disease takes hold, it is really very difficult to treat successfully: MeMe II has now registered on the same forum as MeMe!

A further symptom of the disease which can make it difficult to identify for certain was mentioned earlier and that is the sufferer's insistence on adopting a very different name and personality from their original one. There are no confirmed cases of this yet but suspicions have been raised regarding the following:

1. 'Aging Youth' and 'Ageing Yob'

2. 'Manos' and 'The Garfish'

Now I feel that our esteemed forum leaders have a duty of care towards us and would humbly suggest that any forum member showing the symptoms described above should be offered psychiatric help immediately.

Awaiting your response,

Worried, of Reading

Oh dear!

People are taking this thread FAR too seriously!!

Look what JF has posted over on the other side:

"Can you imagine, someone thinks (I mean REALLY thinks) that 'The Garfish', is actually Manos"

Has he had a sense of humour by-pass while he was away?

I only wanted to bring a smile.

Schizopaddies

Sloppy paperwork on my part, sorry Louise...

Because of broadband we are lazy & keep it switched on a lot (paddies- no-mates the two of us)....

And I joined the other site twice by mistake...plastic paddies now we are as well as tubers (reminds me ...time to put on the spuds; Jackeen likes his tucker)

Anyway If anyone discovers the true identity of the Garfish, I'd love to know...Wumper won't tell...(nice to see Bugle Billy today WH)...doubt very much it's Manos God help us

Very funny the GF ...

The Missus

Looking forward to seeing you 2 tomorrow & WH is inviting people to watch the match...maybe we could sneak off & do some rib-wrecking as my other alias is now Mrs. Rib-Wrecker long story will tell you & Richard B tomorrow...

Allright I confess I am Derk Deggler.

Mrs Jackeen may I say that Billy was very pleased to see your lovely self also, Jasper bashed the nut of eventually and we fitted the new mounts on the back. So that's all going in the right direction.

What I will say about The Garfish is that I wish I was him as I find him accutly funny, and wish I could be that witty.

Err is the match on Saturday or Sunday

oh yeah I meant Sunday. I was a bit dizzy from polishing Jackeen's shoes

That's one mighty rib you've got there...Subtitle for Bugle might be...'Let me Be The One'

(Huge coincidence; caretaker at work insisted on doing a CD for me...)

Personality Changes

Hi Kathleen,

I for one only ever use "Aging Youth" or my real name always have and always will. Not just on Ribnet. I have had this nickname for a few years now.

For those of you who know me personally, I speak as I find and do not have to hide behind a psudonim, unlike others!

I have decided to ignore the C*"*P that some people come out with on the basis that they are just a wind up merchant. Life is too short.

1. 'Aging Youth' and 'Ageing Yob'

I never have nor will use another name on Ribnet.

Best Wishes
Kevin AKA

The Real "Aging Youth"

Sure ...never thought it for a moment. Did you go out yesterday?
And are ye doing any trips before Christmas?

Hi Louise & Wave
Have you two nothing better to do? Come over here & give me a hand with the ironing...
OK, Jack aka Jackeen is indeed my hubby Paul (since identity crises are the order of the day!!!).
The CD was a special compilation of gentler Trout stuff since my work colleagues know what a quiet soul I am...
And Zebedee is the name we finally decided on and registered so, officially NO CHANGE (I've read Charles' thread )
(Try saying the alternative(s) 3 times to the Coastguard with an Irish accent )
Missus
