Isn't it strange how Britain is supposed to be falling behind everyone on broadband - seems ourt speeds aren't so bad after all.

V666 what connection do you have - that's an awesome upload speed!!!

As I do a fair amount of work from home the upload is more important than the down load.

I'm a fair way from the exchange so it slows my download, but anything over 10000kbs wont make a lot of odds to me.

current actual spped is

Uptime: 2 days, 19:38:47
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 2,022 / 14,034
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [GB/GB]: 13.91 / 1.27

and i'm with Be ( https://www.bethere.co.uk/ ) , so far had no problems at all and have only had one outage when they upgraded the exchange one night.

They use anex M (not common yet) to increase the upload speed, but that does lower the down load speed. Also means you need a router that can do anex M and like most companies they only supprot the router they supply. The one they do is a 4 port with wireless Speedtouch, so not too bad.
