There is not and will not be anything that surpases a J class for speed, style etc. I used to take my 14 ft Fletcher down Southampton Water, on the way to Cowes, and always looked at Endeavor hauled up on the shore at Calshot, with the keel cut off ( lead for ammo in WW11) It made you want to cry. Fortunately, an American Lady bought her and now she is fully restored.

Running around like a head with it's chicken cut off.

the boat in boats and outboards is an awsome thing, i helped the guy do a bit of work on it when it was in manchester, it realy is a thing of beauty.
