hyperlink?

When posting links, how do I shorten a long address to say a clickable "here"

I can't find anything on RIBnet about this, I did however manage to do it in Word and tried to copy and paste it. That didn't work either.

No that dosn't work!

I just want to replace the address that you would normally have when copy/pasting with a given clickable word.

ie: from this - http://rib.net/forum/showthread.php?p=193298#post193298

To this - Here

If I click a link and copy it.

Then I paste it in the forum.

I end up with this: http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/php/welcome.php3

Are you telling me that I have to add this code stuff manually to either end of the address to shorten it?

Can't this be done automaticly?
