I used to work with a clatter of French lads. We raided high and low for a few seasons. I learned from pros - all names in French. We were lucky that we only found mushrooms round these parts
Now I have a memory map and calendar of where to look. I even have a few GPS co-ords for special stuff - like a huge reliable patch of Trompette de Mort
. I prefer Girolles
, and if I can't get those, Chantrelles
(our Grey Chantrelle).
