OK, so you've got the car here's for the leather seats, sat nav, etc.
I happen to despise this line of thinking. How will you feel when you kill someone with your behemouth SUV? Happened to a 20-something neighbor of mine growing up, she wouldn't drive again for 10+ years.

Per passenger miles driven, SUVs are NOT the safest vehicle, not for it's passengers, and certainly not for the poor unfortunates on the receiving end. Please don't let me get started on my anti-SUV rant! If you need large towing capacity, fine, but otherwise, stick to a well engineered CAR.

" I just cant imagine life without you"
Cars better though if your going to hit a tree or a solid object, something to do with the heavier mass of a 4x4.

I think you kind of missed the point... ...it wasn't an engineering argument he's looking for - he want's a way to convince his wife.

DC Tucker, this was a light hearted answer, really nothing to do with SUV's look at the thread title
'How to sweet talk the Missus'
Remember its evening here, we're all drunk
Anyway I'm off to polish my Humvee

go single its far easier lol....... Tried it for three years and she hated the toys parked in the driveway!!! Buy her a horse and she still isnt happy.... Tried to explain that the truck was for a horsebox but oh no she wanted a lorry ....lol!! Hence the single life and the purchase of a pub!!! Oh what a life.... (P,S employ young blonde staff, take them out clubbing, meet their mates and roll on at 3.30 am ready for a 6am start!! Oh life is such a bitch!!!) Good luck with it all.....

If at first you dont suceed try try again!!!

Other option is tell her you got a cracking trade in for your old car and the new one only cost 200 quid on top.... They always fall for a bargain....

Or do what i done with the t.v, accidently drop it down the stairs and tell her the insurance paid for the 42 inch plasma!! How gulible was she....

Surely you don't have to tell her a Delica is a 4x4?

Sure looks like an mpv to me....
