I had a couple of 2 litre mkIII Granadas. Good thing they weren't 2.8s as I was doing 1000 miles a week

They were easily the most comfortable cars I have owned and impressively reliable. Turns out they do need at least a little bit of oil in the engine to ensure longevity though

Seem to have moved away from hot hatches a little.
One of my previous was a 3.0 ltr Capri, in the JPS colour scheme. Looked pretty cool to these eyes, went OK, but show it a corner and
Well it did have a hatch
But hot....

Oh the memories of the Fiesta Supersport 1.3 with twin webber carbs the slight resistance on the go fast peddle as the second carb opened up. With rs 4 spoke alloys it was like a go cart round corners. Even had head light washer jets! Quality

Ermmm yes are you talking about my hair dresser car that hasn't left the driveway since 2006 and guards the Rib! I have a lot of fond memories owning that car although the transmission tunnel did cause a few awkward moments in my younger years! LOL

Lowered suspension, Janspeed manifold and system, +60 thou' overbore, big valve head, BCF2 camshaft, all lightened and balanced by Vulcan. 85bhp at the wheels and gave many an XR2 a run for their money. Would have been a real animal if our budget could have stretched to a pair of DCNFs. Standard gearing only gave 100mph for 6000rpm though!
