We went to see this a couple of years back.I think they may even have the same bikes (bar the horrible CM200's they had in addition to the Indians).

I've seen the Wall Of Death at St Agnes Steam Rally with original Indians. Superb.

These guys or an outfit very similar,were a regular atraction at 'Bridgewater Fair' not so long ago,they were great!They also had 'Indian' bikes,and even a go-kart! When I was younger you could even get in the ''Boxing Booth''with a seasoned old pro to see if you could go three rounds and earn a few quid!...as a 19yr old amateur I found out the hard way they did'nt play by the A.B.A rules I was used too! or any others for that matter ha! {managed two!}All good fun though!

When my eldest was being delivered, I asked the Midwife why they were making such a fuss as women had been giving birth for 1000's of years. She replied, 'Yes, and women have been dying in childberth for 1000's of years'.

I highly recommend it, I stumbled across it a couple of months ago without knowing the story and it was superb.

yes but I'm not sure what point you were trying to make. Are you trying to argue that modern medicine/midwifery (post antibiotics, c-section, forceps/ventuce etc) does not make labour safer - or are you arguing that the "noise" on the graph is significant? headline grabbing statistics "worst in 20 years" - the last 20 years has been the safest 2 decades in the last 2000!

The point I was trying to make is that nothing will ever be 100% safe - sometimes people take things for granted too much.
