It's just about covered at the moment, although it's likely to keep going up. I'm working on a new trade directory which I hope will bring in some advertising revenue, but it would also be good to see more people contributing by becoming paid members

John, can you elaborate. What are "spiders"?

Andy

PS. Can't you cap the size/quality of the picture we post even more. Culling Photo's of a year or more is probably OK

perhaps pm the nasty words

Perhaps the nasty-gram about being a "nosey bastard" is best left to personal messages. I don't really care to read about anyone's rantings about being wee'd off at another member, thank you. Disagree all you want, but let's not get nasty on a personal level. I KNOW I once said "%$#^ off" to a group of individuals who were reaming me for "a particular fishing practice" and one individual took it as a REAL nasty-gram to him. I apologize, again, as I erred. So, let's all chill out in public; in private you can fill in the "%$#^" if you care to!! Peace. john

Just to set your mind at rest, Jklingel, MeMe and myself are the very best of buddies and regularly play act at being abusive to one another on the forum. We boat together a lot in North Wales and share a bizarre sense of humour, which unfortunately is often misunderstood, particularly by foreigners MeMe himself is the biggest wind-up merchant on Ribnet. So, take another puff on your peace pipe and don't take life so bloody seriously.

Mr Kennett, you have PM!

Mr Davies and Hightower, thinking of heading down to the sunny isle of wight anytime soon?!

MeMe, I reckon these guests are nervous about stepping out of the shadows. Maybe we're all really intimidating or something.

I have a half eaten packet of Haribo here and a bottle of "Skull Splitter" beer from Orkney Brewery. Maybe the thought of sweet tangy munch, and rank booze will entice them out....

OH! NOW I get it!

Dear Dr Phil (Davies): Foreigners! We just don't get it, I guess. Ex-cuuuuse me(me)! I did not know that you two guys regularly rag the *&^$ out of each other. A little friendly abuse is certainly acceptable. I wonder if I could...nah, never mind. I am a foreigner and it might get mis-interpreted by some foreigner. Happy ribbing, in BOTH senses of the word. j-*(&^%ing-klingel

Hi Tim. As I think Daniel TD5 said in another thread, the South East sub-5m bunch are more than willing to attend another attempt at the IoW. We even have plans to rope in Mr Wayne Rogers from Suffolk, although he doesn't know it yet

Can I gatecrash this trip?

I was planning a visit to the IOW in the next three weeks and it sounds like fun!

Tim (the other one)
