Glasgow to Largs

Hi, can anyone local advise me the best way to get from Glasgow Airport to Largs and back again in July?

Going round Scotland and Largs Marina is our start and finish point.

Thanks

Alex simplest way follow M8 to Greenock then pick up A78 at the town roundabout in Greenock down coast to Largs. You'll follow the Clyde all the way There are other ways but I think this will be easier if you don't know area. B

If you are going public transport then I think you are looking at the train, there is bus service linking you to the train station from the airport. Traveline Scotland website will provide, times, numbers, costs etc.

If you are organised and don't face too much congestion or water shortages you can do it in five hrs. What they have shown is a long day bit is possible with an early start.

A dot is an overnight stop, as with round Britain it's about seeing stuff rather than zooming past it, this time round Scotland has shorter legs so we can fit more in

It looks like Monday the 13th July we will be cruising out of Largs and back again if anyone want to join us? We may also go out on the Sunday but most will be arriving then.

Alex have you still got a flight booked from Bristol?? I've a late crew change and he may well appreciate a flight from Bristol opposed to having to meet me somewhere like Birmingham...
