Giffgaff are amazing. £10 goodybag - sorted for me.

I like the fact that a) you are not tied to a contract b) you can get help instantly on the community forums

I've been on giffgaff for a couple of years - it's ok, if you can get by with the crap coverage of the O2 network it runs on. The disappointing aspect for me is if you use up all your 'goodybag' inclusive minutes, you can't buy another goodybag until the current one expires (they last a calendar month), so any further calls are charged for on a per minute basis out of airtime credit you load onto your account.

If you have a reasonably accurate prediction of how many minutes talktime you need per month, then it's a pretty good system and not too pricey.

Giffgaff you'll get 250 minutes, 1gb data, unlimited text and free giffgaff to giffgaff calls for £10.

For £12 you get 250 minutes, unlimited data and texts.

Remember no contract - always a good thing IMO.

My Daughter has been on Giffgaff for a year with her 3gs, make sure it's unlocked or with O2.

I've been using Giffgaff for about 8 months.

In that time there have been two outages that lasted at least a day due to the O2 network failing (I got £5 of credit for the inconvenience for both). I've not found the O2 network any worse than other networks for coverage. In actual fact it was better than Vodafone and Virgin in the New Forest where my In-laws live.

Using the £12/month unlimited internet for both my daughter and myself as I don't want the hassle of download watching my data every month. No contract and no problem for me.

I say go for it, you've nothing to lose.

Indeed, the buggers are doing an offer!!!!!

This sort of deal is such a good deal it's insane. This is one of the times when you have to say that " If it's too good to be true " then this time it's true.

£240 a year for unlimited calls and sms........oh, and 1 GB per month? Nobrainer..........and with O2 coverage as opposed to Orange or T something, even Vodafone are lower as far as coverage is concerned.

What, calling? On the 'phone all the time now that it's free.
Better response from clients.
Speak hands free in the car for half an hour at a time. Conference calls.
Dream come true for people that can speak to other people, or at least are not afraid to.
in answer to question, probably about 100 minutes a day.
250,000 a year I reckon.

Not with conference call numbers they presumably go to some giant VOIP server not to a landline.
