I don't know how old this is but I had a pair of titanium X sport estates in 2012/13
Both were the 200hp 2.2 diesel and had touchscreen sat nav in dash.
Between them both they were back at the dealer over 20x in 18 months. The first one accounting for most of that. It was so bad I rejected the car legally and they ordered me another new one.....also had to reject it, not an easy task.
The main issues I had was the reversing camera wouldn't work consistently, dash software freeze, window wipers failed, car kept saying no key present and wouldn't start meaning tow time, engine management lights.
The very day I picked up the new replacement the window wipers failed and the day I picked it up from dealer again the reversing camera failed. I gave them 3 months to fix the camera and various trips to the dealer, within a week of the fix it broke again, both cars had this issue.
My ford dealer was brilliant I have to say, various ford people came and seen the car and no one could fix them. Due to the rejections they had to give me a full refund so it didn't cost me depreciation on either car.
It seems the estate Mondeo and the big engine are built in a different factory and they always told me the small engines don't have those issues, I didn't want the small engine though!!!!
3 friends have mondeo diesels from 06 plates to 12 plates with various engines, all of them have had engine management problems to some degree in last year or so.
Personally, I will never buy another ford. I loved the look of mine too......
