I'm pretty sure that they'll expire before '08. Kate Moss a Co. have been championing the straight legs for a few months now and I think that they're on their way back with a vengeance.

The 51-year-old married yachtsman suffered severe burns and broken bones to his hand and arm before the metal tube entered his abdomen and burst out through his back causing internal injuries.

If it was a rocket I could possibly understand it but it was a normal white hand held!!!

It is only the one type from one batch - Pains Wessex have a great reputation normally.

Really suprised at what can happen if things go wrong, one takes for granted that these things are gonna work.

Doesn't really affect me though.....Most of my Flares are out of date!

Where do I take unwanted Flares for disposal? RNLI station? Shop?

Andy, The local coastguard station will normally take them off your hands, for safe disposal.
