Employment needed, can anyone help?

Hi All,

I've just heard today that I've been made redundant from my fairly well paid job as a Stress Engineer, rubbish (I decided to buy a £700 laptop 2 days ago too, durr).

I am lucky in that I don't have a house or a family to support, but it kind of throws a spanner in the works of my future plans...

I have managed to secure a working holiday visa for Canada and plan to do a season of snowboarding and a season of mountain biking in BC which will also give me a chance to work on my photography. I had budgeted assuming I would be employed up until end of October so now its looking like my big year away may fall at the first hurdle through lack of funds.

I thought I might see if anyone on the forums might have a suitable position available for me for August, September and October (I still have a month to work in this job but can leave early if I wish).

Unfortunately I'm not a qualified PB Instructor, so thats rules that option out but I'm very adaptable and so will consider anything! RIB or boat related is a bonus but I'm not necessarily heading in that direction. Most of you on here are aware that I do a bit of photography so perhaps there are some companies/individuals who could put a bit of that work my way?!

Thanks for you time chaps.

Tim

Oh dear!

I'm sure we'd all love to help, apart from one minor point . . .

O if you get a bit short i will give you £50 for that boat of yours

All the best to you chap
