After quite a few problems with international buyers trying to purchase some stuff of me I found out eBay had enrolled me in their Global shipping program and I didn't even know.
I found this out last night and I was able to turn it off.
It might be worth checking your eBay settings if you don't want to be a part of this.

It all sounds quite good however when you ship your item to a delivery hub they unpack it and then re package it to how they see fit
