Downloading music

any recommendations for safe site to download music? (legally)

i've just bought 6 tracks from woolworths, tried to sync them and windows media refused, the cd i burnt them on to wont play in cd players, so its on my computer or bugger all else........waste of time.

i'd prefer sites that let you download in mp3 format so i can make mp3 cd's for my car

strop over

thanks

I use mp3fiesta , very cheap and legal. You can listen to clips before you buy and with the exchange rate ($) at the mo it's even better value.

The music industry did not think the site was legal a while back, as they tried to close it, saying the site was not charging enough

I agree with itunes. No, I do not use a Mac. However it does provide for file format conversions even for protected files so you can produce your own custome CD's or mp3 player syncs and E mail files. If you know how!!!!! and you will not find it under "Help" Just testing
Also it has great features for creating custom playlists.
Winamp would be my next choice but is more difficult to use.

It may look a little odd but it is quite safe and legal.

Check out digitalspy for some info or just google mp3fiesta.

I can honestly say I have never had a problem with anything from them.

I use http://www.mp3sparks.com/. Its great and cheap with a pretty large library .... no doubt it will get shut down at some point, but it'll pop up again, keeping any credit card balance ofcourse but I wouldnt leave a large some on your balance just incase
