Agreed.

I wouldn't do it again and I wouldn't advocate doing it, hence the 'To my eternal shame' rider.

This was a while ago. The same car (a Subaru WRX) regularly sped along the same stretch of road, making a right racket when doing so. It was reported by me. No change. One day I took a photo of it on my phone - it screeched to a halt, reversed at high speed, screeched to a halt again and the driver got out and threatened me - bl**dy scary at the time. On 'Dog-poo day' I happened to be in the right place at the right time (with a means of a swift exit). I was the only person stupid enough to be on the beach at that time; the only thing he could hit would be the concrete sea-wall. As I said, it was stupid, and I do regret it now - I had gone down the proper channels, but this idiot was still doing the same thing (probably relying on people flashing their headlights to avoid getting caught speeding where there were traps).

I think I'll start a thread 'What do we think of Cat poo in gardens' - that might be less contentious.

I'll get my coat...

If my dog crapped in your garden daily, you'd be mighty angry. So why is it as are allowed? Not in mine, send the dog after em (though he'd lose), failing that, the 12 bore!
