Dog boarding Ladder?

Hi All
Has anyone come across a RhIB boarding ladder for dogs? I have found some on the web that attach to standard swim ladders, but none that can hook over a sponson. The ladder would need to be submerged by 18" + to allow back legs of dog to touch down whilst getting on board. Medium/large dog, 34kg!

P.S. Any tips on best dog life jackets?

My 11 year old Collie gets on board by two different routes.
if he is not too knackered swimming he gets on at the tube ends but normally I use the handle on his lifejacket to lift him up onto the tubes

I haul Newfoundlands over the tube by the grab handles on their lifejackets. No its not very much fun for me or them!

I have considered one of these partially floating ladders. http://www.pawsaboard.com/ladder.asp

But I'm not sure it has enough capacity (might sink and get too vertical to be useful), I don't know about attaching it to the tube, and its awfully expensive.

I looked at paws aboard and reached the same conclusion as you! Damned expensive and not so good on a rib.

Thanks goodness I've only got a lab to haul in on the handle and not a 14 stone newfee!

Sounds like there's a new market out there for someone.

A lady living near me has a Mastiff that weighs 22 stone!!!

yup spot on - 14lbs in a stone.

The world record is over 315lbs. The Romans used to take Mastiffs back home from Britain to fight in the arena. They were also used a lot in warfare along with the Irish wolfhounds.

I think the Bull Mastiff looks even scarier but i much prefer large dogs to small ones - things like Jack Russells and other ankle snappers - nasty yappy little things just like small people - look at Hitler - Mussolini - Napolean etc!!!

All depends - maybe you are like Richard Hammond who is quite lovable really!!!

Maybe I am a little biased - my ex girlfriend was just over 5' and she was pretty nasty.............
