Along the same lines, I went to high school with Dave Thomas (of "Ghostbusters" fame) and had breakfast with his older brother Ian just a couple of weeks ago...

Mercifully, I don't know Celine Dion, but I am waiting patiently for call from Shania Twain~
Stoo, I am definitely not worthy.... You got drunk with John Candy? I am sure that makes for a great story when sitting at a bar or out with the buds, I would get a lot of mileage out of something like that! I drank a few beers with Dave Mason once, and did the same with Glenn Shorrock from the Little River Band after one of their concerts some years ago, my brush with celebrity or semi- celebrity if you will. Dave Thomas... I loved the Mackenzie bros, did you ever get to see the movie Strange Brew? Him and Rick Moranis if I recall, kind of a slow comedy but it has some extremely funny parts, laughed my ass off at points.

If he's in Miami there is a real strong possibility he's from somewhere else, South Florida has a huge immigrant population...

Have Just been "introduced" to Mr Ross this side of the pond via Gordon Ramsey's show. Woss is a really good name, but I could think of a couple of dozen others.

It depends on the context

Well known linguist Dr. gArf. Ish should be able to shed light on this one

Dave and Ian Thomas went to my high school. Ian is a very good friend of my sister's and is a successful music producer. I have an old yearbok which shows Dave Thomas and another guy putting on a skit at an assembly where is was in full Mackenzie Bros. mode with another guy.
