Okay. Well there was a small initial problem 'cos I had already drunk all the Desperado before Richard's strategic last minute offering, assuming that, as I was the only contributor, I was already the worthy winner and entitled to quaff the lot....!

However, I had to go to Frankfurt on business this week (by road!) and I therefore felt duty bound to make a diversion into Pidou at Transmarck on the return journey and bought up the only three cases of Desperado that they had.

AND THE WINNER IS

Paul Chitty

for trashing the old man's grand piano and having the smarts to blame it on some poor, defenceless, pre-pubescent moggy who was then immediately rendered homeless for a sin he didn't commit. (I think there's a TV series in there somewhere)

Congratulations. TOP MAN

OK, so you were a few hours late coming forward with it Paul, but if I was carrying all that guilt, I'd find it difficult to confess to publicly as well.

PM me with your contact details and we'll make some appropriate arrangements for the delivery of your prize.

May I be the first to offer my congratulations to Phil... and if you need any assistance in the correct procedure for handling the prize, may I be the first to offer assistance! (note, two smileys = humour )

By no way was my offering strategic... I suffer from the human condition of working much better under pressure!
