There are good and bad cyclists.......the same as for drivers of cars, vans, trucks and cabs.
The thing is that whilst everybody just gets irate and/or is ignorant the cycling fraternity that want to have a go INSIST that they have some sort of priority.
That's what gets my back up. It's as if they have been wronged whilst doing everybody else a service and putting themselves out whilst being so gracious.
Angry cabby, pissed off van driver on the phone, mum that can't see over her XC90 steering wheel.........water off a ducks back.
Lycra, tap shoes, blinding badly adjusted strobes ( if any lights at all ), jumping red lights and above all that w*nky attitude.
Makes me want to drive about 20 yards ahead of them, open the passenger door and slam on the brakes.
Still on the OT...........can't stand them.

In my Taxi days I used to have a sticker in the back window of my cab, it said ...
ACTUALLY I DO OWN THE ROAD

Late yesterday afternoon on the ferry slip on the Fowey side of the Fowey I watched a RIB launch that had been over-enthusiastically unsecured from it's trailer. The backing into the water was a bit cocky and resulted in said vessel taking to the water and floating off. Luckily the ferry was en route to Bodinnick and the RIB was arrested by hire pleasure boat. They were good enough to hold it against the current while a rescuer/owner swam out and ended up paddling her back to the slip with the aid of the hire boat. Sorry chaps no pics, even if I had it wouldn't be fair to post as it can happen to anybody. And I can't film myself swimming to my adrift SR!!!!!
Actually on this occasion I was sat in my car waiting for the ferry........but' I have been close to this.
It was a bit "Ealing Comedy" I have to say. Lots of people yelling followed by a car driver wading into the water and swimming after his boat with helpers uselessly chucking ropes at him. Thankfully the tow car didn't slowly roll into the water.

I went to college in Liverpool. When I turned up at my digs, the Toxteth Riots were on. Obviously all students were told to stay in, so I went to Toxteth to have a gander. Had a knife pulled on me by a nine year old and watched a cop car get rolled and torched.
That was my second day in Aigburth. 1988.
Love the place.
So south of the Mersey is out of the quezzie? Where is the source anyway?

If it's got launch wheels then they may end up somewhere else, but I doubt your RIB has them.
Is Moss Side as bad as it was?
