Worth knowing that if your staying north coast and the weather is poor, very often it is marvelous on other coast and visa versa.
Another south coast is Mounts Bay beaches with The Mount at Marazion to walk over to at low water or ferry boat on high water.

Enjoy

Steve do you think Cornwall could handle a combined Lancastrian/Scottish invasion?

That certainly would be lovely if we could pull it off. I'll leave you to organise the weather as long as you don't do any worse that I organised for you last year

Deep water at all states of the tide is rare on the North coast so I would always go for the South coast as it is a lot more accessible.

North coast can be great, the wildlife and cliffs are far sweeter than the South but launching is tidal, tolerated is lovely or horrible with nothing inbetween and some big areas with no where to run.

Don't forget Plymouth. Great estuary, lovely runs west or east, good land side options and good bad weather options.

Plymouth to Looe run planned for Easter if you're down then.
