I wouldn't run multiple products that aim to achieve the same thing. They'll potentially conflict and even if they don't they'll sap processing power.

Spybot can run along side anything.McAfee is not that great overall though.

Vista is a complete dog .. I'd sooner have XP or Windows 7 anyday

I had Vista in an old laptop and '7' transformed it into a 'new' machine

However changing o/s 's isnt for everyone especially if you have to spend a few bucks doing it so if your happy with it.. just leave it

Thats because they are likely only to be virus carriers, that affect only PC's not the Mac they are using.

I use both Mac & PC and much prefer the Mac. I scan my Macs every so often for viruses and have never found a Mac virus - but have often found PC viruses embedded in spam emails.
