Chat Room

I have often spent many a happy hour on Rib net and looked at who else is logged on. (Thanks John)

How easy would it be to put a RIB net chat room on here John ?, and does people think it would be useful?.

Just a thought to allow me to get accused of spending even more time on the PC , buty the boss

Whats your thoughts John ?.

Regards Gary

Try this thread, has instructions for how to use the IRC chat room we have. Currently only me and Alex Brown are there much, but if more people show interest, who knows. I might look in to setting up PHP IRC or CGI IRC on a temporary site soonish to simplify the use of the channel for the less computer literate amongst us

Cheers,
Matt

I think the chat room you say I think (for me at least) is a bit tedious to use (not that user friendly).
There are chat rooms dead easy to use such as PalTalk
www.paltalk.com where for USD 9.00 per yr you can have a private chat room. Also Yahoo and MSN have access to creating chat rooms.
It will be a great idea for a chat room.
I have suggested this MANY TIMES but ... 'STOU KOUFOU THN PORTA OSO THELIS VRONDA' .

I think it would be a great idea, chat live and post on subject only.

No more bolluckings for going off topic.

Great Idea.

Looged into your chat room. No one there ofcourse LOLOL as you expect.
However, it looks VERY SIMPLE and easy to use If people start using it will be great fun!!
Now is for JK to put a link in the forum to your chat room.
