I need to convert a cda to a wav. file, can anyone point me in the direction of some freeware?

To convert MP3 to WAV I use a program called CDex. It may well done what you want as well. Its free from somewhere...maybe do a search in google.

You should be able to find software to do this in Tucows look under your operating system (windows?) then multimedia and Audio.
Keep an eye on the software type shareware/freeware/demo depending on what you want.
