Caravan/static pitch?

This is a longshot I know but bear with me! I've been thinking about siting a larger caravan or static for a while now but can't for the life of me find anywhere that advertises vacant pitches. I don't have a van yet so even a van and pitch would do. I'm not interested in any of the commercial sites, just looking for somewhere quiet and very near a beach. I'm thinking Morar or Melllon Udrigle sort of direction but open to suggestions. Anyone any ideas?
