2 ft here and -18 going to work last week. Best part of a month now. We're used to though and ski slopes only 45 minutes drive away.

So, how long did you have to wait before a Landrover turned up to tow you out?

About 3 hours as we had to defrost their washer system first

That would've been a 5 min fuse change. Presumably the other 2hrs 55mins were spent waiting for your front screen to thaw.

Not with your hams, you'd need a 13 year old with nimble fingers to pick up the spare fuse you dropped, then 20 mins to rebuild the glove box

There's a few more fuses in there now. The toys were almost thrown all over the autobahn when trying to perform that operation.

Roads closing here!

Snow has arrived with us again, swirling around and poor vis, but not really sticking as yet....see what happens when temp drops. However the strong winds are causing havoc with the roads. They are being closed as a result of drifts caused by the wind wipping up fallen snow from the fields rather than new snow...although the new stuff won't help. Quite bizarre really...

Dan.
