Camping south coast

Myself and a few friends are looking to spend a few nights camping on the southcoast mid-June ish. No boat, so no need for slipway etc.

Will be going down on the train so near to a station would be good.

Poole/Bournemouth looks ok, tickets seem especially cheap to there for some reason.

Ideally somewhere where we can have a fire/be loud and not disturb any families.

Any suggestions?

a couple of good sites at Brockenhurst in the new forest. Train station there and you can walk to the site, or if you're really lazy there is a bus from the station. Loads of pubs/restaurants and it's only a short hop to lymington on the train from there if you get water withdrawal symptoms.

Ive stayed here a few times, and have had a fire, they might put you in a filed away from families if its likely to be loud which is a good thing.

East Creech Farm House and Campsite

Its about 3 miles from wareham, good walks in the area including over to corfe castle. You also have kimmeridge etc not far away.

The New Forest is a nice place to visit, but from memory I doubt if any of the campsites will allow fires, let alone planned disruption :~)

The East Creech site sounds good. Corfe Castle, Wareham and Swanage are only a few miles away. Wareham is the nearest station on the main London to Weymouth line.

Hurst view campsite is a good one for fires. But it is not close to a station.
