Brave lifeboatman
A lifeboat crewman has been bitten by a dog as he rescued the animal from the sea off Porthcawl, south Wales.
The crewman was part of the Porthcawl inshore lifeboat called on Sunday to help a labrador called Bonny which had swum out to sea chasing a rugby ball.
Simon Emms was bitten by Bonny as he tried to bring her aboard the lifeboat.
Bonny's owner and a friend who had gone into the water to try to rescue Bonny were treated for cold, before being reunited with the pet.
