Codders,

You know what I saw so many boats today and walked so far I can't remember what boat they were on. It was near Ashbypowers slot so maybe he will be able to tell us.

Nice pic of Micki Dee Bee.

Am there at the show, am on the Standard Horizon stand G115 in Solent hall.

Oli, our senior skipper, is driving the boat on the "Try A Boat" section.

Be sure to stop by and say hi if your passing.

Get yourself booked on the "try a boat" if you fancy a raz out on Micki Dee Bee and be sure to tell Oil your from Ribnet.

I was wolf wistled at yesterday and thought my luck was in, no such luck, turned out to be Richard, clearly a very nauti boy!!!!!

Nasher,

Make sure you wear sunglasses. You'll see what I mean if its a sunny day. Ladies everywhere. Shouldn't be allowed.

Yes, they were a bit nervous about doing a powerboat course, so I told them not to worry, I'd make sure I instructed their course personally. All part of the service you see!

Hi Brian,

I did have a photo of your 8 Meter RIB but its quite blurred so I haven't posted it.

I'll get down your neck of the woods later this year and pop in and say hello.

Enjoy the rest of the show. I've got one of the most stressful weeks of my life coming up at work so I won't be thinking about you.

Regards Nick.

Jimbo - they'd be much safer with a rather more senior member of the community. I could email you details of someone appropriate for the job??

Mac

Here are a couple of photos for BogMonster. Its a small RIB type boat made by MAC. I had a look around their stand and although I could see the merits of their product. They had a cutout of the tubes which showed a thick plastic encompassing a foam inner. It didn't look very nice in the flesh. Almost something I would expect to see in eastern Europe. The RIB product didn't look too bad but the red speed boat looked like it was made out of a wheelie bin. the plastic finish was very coarse.

If you ever go on a cross channel ferry they have a much nicer looking boat they use as an FRC. The last three phots are of such a boat. Probably cost a small fortune though. Looks like a GRP hull and fittings with a foam collar.

Its not that big a place so I'll just wander round and say hello anyway !
For anyone still to visit the show, take a look at this link for stand locations. It's a PDF so you can scale it up to any size you want if you're visually challenged like me! Doesn't have an exibitor/stand number list, but that's available from the boat show website.

There was me trying to take a nice photo of my children having a go with the RYA OnBoard programme this lunchtime when this cruises in and fills the frame.

You can see the children in the top left

HiRes version available if required.

Great Day by the way, and thanks for the advice on parking at West Quay....brilliant. The Park and Ride was, of course, working so not sure what that website was on about yesterday.

Kids want to know when we're getting the big Sunseeker

Orve.

I am sure it was a 12.5m ribeye cabin rib . I stopped to look at it and the guy there said it used something like 80 l an hour and did 80 knts or mph ?

iam realising now I only saw half of it , you need more than a day for a good look around , i missed the ceasar boats thinking they weren't there , wanted to show the family .
Fuller will be pleased my mrs liked the hard boats more than any ribs , no room on a rib , I must say she is right when you compare
