Bit of ROV downtime

ROV unit needs a clean and service......got sent this ....not sure where it was but by the looks of the overalls etc it looks like UK waters

It was onboard the Bourbon Oceanteam 101 working block 18 off Angola. Wasn't pretty but wish we had taken more photos....added a bit of excitement to an otherwise boring shift!

The riggers lobbed it over the side, the chef was from Aberdeen so prob didn't have that much experience with shark dishes. Still, some sharkfin soup would have been good.....

Bit more Down time...

More down time tonight. This time it was a Tuna that got into the ROV and took out some cables! This time he was transported directly to the Galley, tuna steaks for breakfast anyone??!!

The shark looks like a Porbeagle, they make good money and eat really well steaked and grilled or bbq'd with garlic butter slapped on.
