Bass fishing in Jersey

I know some of the members on here are from Jersey so I'm looking for some local knowledge.

I'm heading to St Helier in April and I'm looking for some Bass fishing (or general sea fishing) on a charter boat.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Welcome to Tarka Sea Trips, Jersey

Dave has the space next to my rib in the marina, he's a top bloke, cant speak too highly of him. He's an ex commercial fisherman prior to doing charter trips which he has been doing for about 25 years.

He knows how to catch fish and have fun doing it

Alternatively, there's the Elizabeth marina. Completely illegal to fish there but absolutely teeming with huge bass A friend who will remain nameless has had many double figure bass out of there, biggest I think was 13 pound

He certainly has an impressive gallery, he was actually one of the websites I had visited previously.

Well priced too

Thanks for the heads up.

The best bass fishing in the Channel Islands is to be found inside the Minquiers Reef. I remember when I was a commercial fisherman in the 1980s we landed many double-figure bass when using live sand eel on long lines south of the Vasselin.
