Basking Shark in Torbay

Saw my first real live Basking Shark yesterday just off Berry Head while out on the boat. Had no camera with me but fantastic to see . Was as big as my boat and kind of put the divers off going for their second dive

The more important thing Tue - is why did'nt you catch the wrerched thing??

- the dorsel is a delecacy as regards soup
- the hide would be great for watch straps
- the pancreas could be used to make some medicines
- the liver is also a much sort after herbal remedy for arthitus

made myself look like a prat there , as soon as i saw the word shark i just jumped to conclusions lol i now relise that basking sharks have no teeth !
