Hi Poly, sorry but I think I will bow out for now as that’s a 500 miles for me and an 8 hour drive.
Plus I have managed to get a green card to do a 2 week trip to Morocco driving through the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara in April without the wife and kids so I don’t think this is a good time to bring this one up!

Nick, that will be fantastic I have ridden around El Rachidia and Ouarzazate and through the Atlas mountains on my Rallye bike where the non tarmac roads are the most exciting! there are a few old Dakar stages which we rode they were pretty hard fast and interesting a great part of the world, the scenery is outstanding I am a wee bit green and would love to be able to go back for another blast

ha ha, really looking forward to this trip should be a great fun with plenty of off-roading camping and wild camping too
Had a small tast of Morocco last year as my Mum has a place in Fez and after 8 years of owning it thought it was time I went out to see her there.
But this time she will not be around as she is off sailing around the Bay of islands in North NZ I have a lot to live up to with her
One thing I want to do in her foot steps is sailing across the Atlantic

"Just like that!"

Srsly though, sounds like a great trip. In my other life, I'm a Land Rover keeper and have done six weeks on overland trips in Iceland. It's hard to beat. Enjoy!

I should point out she lives in the UK when not on her travels and spends about 3 months a year out there so I have seen plenty of her in the 8 years, can over a bit wrong!
