yes, we used the slip right opposite the camp site entrance, it was ok for the 5.2mtr rib we had at the time but I seem to remember it being a bit restrictive on tides. We had some excellent days out on the rib, got to Tobermory etc but it was a bit windy to venture much further on our own. Loads of wild life to watch, brilliant holiday, had 2nd week on Loch Lomond, another great location for ribs

maybe get back upto Scotland with the rib again when I'm fit, just have to make do with the Menai and Nth Wales again this season I think, not that that's much of a problem

Yes Chris it's a nice location. You keep well mate and we will see you when you ready they'll always be a welcome in the Glens!!

You could try the Loch Aline Dive Centre. It's in the Sound of Mull so not on the Ardnamurchan Peninsular but easy to RIB to where you want to be or easy to tow RIBS closer. They have the Old Post Office that sleeps 10 and the accommodation at the dive centre is also very good. Ferry slip at Loch Aline can be used for launching.
