Today was not good
... During Christmas.. my young lass smashed her iphone 4 glass, so I gave her my 5. Naturally I replaced mine with a new 5s
... but today I went to a 'dodgy' repairs shop to see about replacing her old phone glass , and in the process ... dropped mine, and either me or someone else ran over it
as I didn't know I'd lost it
It still worked when I got it back (locate your iphone is a wonderful thing)
But the best bit is that I took this £700 phone to the apple shop who replaced it for £200
... so I gave them the 4 as well (which had a dodgy battery etc) and they gave me a new one of that as well for 100
.. so £300 down, but 2 new cracking phones
Both needed new screens at least.. but I rekon the chassis in mine was fooked so ... new glass might not have worked anyway ?
I know you can get new glass on ebay or what ever for x pounds ... but I needed a quick solution as a business owner I cannot be without a phone. simple job to restore my old phone contents to the new one
