Getting back to the original topic. My extensive research in both UK and international regulations relating to air guns shows that most countrys do not care less. The UK Home Office, however, has introduced power limits ( without a FAC) and is discouraging the manufacture/importation of semi automatic air guns even though they are under the power limits. As I understand it there are none available in the UK although they are not illegal.

An update on my dilema: have decided to purchase the "FAC" version of the FX Gladiator with built in moderator. They are VERY expensive but put out 34 ft/lbs in 22 cal. Should be fun
regards.

800 for a pellet gun ! You could of had a match grade 22RF for that ! What will you do without the smell of gun smoke anyway?

Valid points. However I live in Mexico and getting a license for 22RF is a problem for Gringos. High end PCP air rifles are every bit as accurate as a match grade 22RF and I will save a bundle on buying match grade pellets compared to match grade 22RF ammo. Example: Eley Club is $12.00US for 50 and I can buy 250 match RWS pellets for that.

If you think thats expensive look at the Daystates - nice to see some of the British names still hanging in there.
