Yeh. I was amused last night when one of the fishermen spoke in his east coast Scottish accent and they put subtitles below him.

I thought 'Trawlermen' was excellent. I have always wondered about what happens when a net gets snagged on the seabed.

Well done BBC.

I thought it was a good program, but reading the radio times it had a right slating giving the impression that it was very dull.

The reason why it is so dull is there arent teams of people buying antique fishing crap at a car boot sale then getting voted off, only to be interviewed during which we are gripped with a seemingly endless stream of utter banalities and non events.

At last a programme featuring real life no doubt a sector of society will now be in trauma and shock as there is no number to text away a whole splodge of cash to. MSM IM will support them I'm sure.

But of course being a crab fisherman off Alaska is the "most dangerous job in the world"!!! Maybe the Discovery Channel should show this in the USA......

Och Jings!

I did like the comment at the end about subtitling Eastenders, I'm more for clearing it off all together onto a channel with Bargain Hunt, Jez Kyle and Big Brother - to "24 Hour-A-Day-Claptrap"
