grrrrrr

going skiing to kiztbuhel on the 7th, flybe the f%*()&ing wa*&^%ker not only tell me they want £45 to transport my ski's they want £15 each person to transport the luggage, am i getting a grumpy old sod?
just add a bit, flybe have just phoned and due to my uncontrollable ranting they've given me all the allowances for nothing, it seems that when i booked the flight in july last year i paid more than they are costing now, so how can they charge me more when i purchased them so long ago, i should have had the best price, grrrrrr, yes i know, grumpy old sod

Brilliant! Had a pair of K2's that were not too stiff for my poor old knees, great off piste and good at carving at a reasonable pace without flapping hysterically, certainly beats carrying all that crap around and getting ripped off at the "orange" check in desk!

Ms DHD & I flew with them last season, as part of a package holiday with Inghams. The check-in assistant wanted to charge us £20 per pair of skis, each way We were then asked if we also wanted to check-in any luggage This was the 8th week of the season, so they should have known what to expect of people going on a ski package holiday by then.

just got back today, skiing was great, snow was so deep i got pics of a couple of mate just off piste and the snow is up to there chests, looks so funny, took a real good tumble and bent a pole, so i got one pole that looks like a racing pole, we had a real good hotel called eidelwiess, what else, but what a good guy who owns it, there was 13 of us and our bar bill in the hotel was about £1200, i'll post some pics once i have all the memory stick back from everyone

Our trip to Winter Park was amazing at lots of different levels, but I have to say that the powder was the driest lightest powder I have ever skied in 40 years of skiing! ......... Now I know why Vail etc are so popular!

Cheap, as in most things, is usually crap. Bulgaria is cheap and particularly crap. As for value, try Italy or there are some good deals to the States.

Tragic.

Do yourselves a favour guys, make sure that you and your loved ones are 'lidded up'. There's no argument for not wearing one. If you can afford a ski holiday, you can afford a helmet.

After skiing for 40 years and a few seasons as well I finally bought one in the States this year - very comfy too!

I may invest in one too. A guy I ski with is in the habit of not looking where he's going and crashing into me.
