Hold on a minute!!!

Whilst I would NEVER indulge in hunting you must realise there is a big difference between a quick - clean - kill for something that will be eaten and needless cruelty for fun.

I know plenty of people who hunt who have far more respect for the countryside etc than most of the so called do gooders ever will.

What is PD doing that is any worse than someone who goes to Teco and buys a leg of lamb or a Turkey at Christmas etc.

I could much easier shoot a human being than an animal but I am NOT a veggie and never will be unless I had to kill something myself. ANYONE who eats meat is JUST as bad as PD and his like!!!

I was just about to post - saying the photo looked fake - but im afraid not.

http://www.30millionsdamis.fr:80/FR/...tit_format.wmv

here you see video footage of the dog at the vets to have the hook removed.

Dont get me wrong I dont aprove of animal cruelty (except sky rat termination) but where do you draw the line...

Is it not cruel to stick a live maggot on a hook - what about a rag worm - no - ok a small fish - stilll not cruel - a rat, maybe a chicken would be cruel, what about a rabbit - cute and cudly enough to be cruel yet.

is it only cruel if the animal is fluffy and qute - who decides where to draw the line...

well spotted Olly !

As the owner of three dogs I've forwarded this to a number of canine sites to up the petition numbers .

By the way Codprawn , certain types of maggots can be used to debride rotton flesh , in the treatment of neglected wounds !

As you will note from the attached photo, Graeme, my dog has more class, good looks and breeding than a Scouse peasant-made-good like yourself could possibly hope to aspire to. Now sod off and stop fishing.

ps. is my invite still on in October for the shoot you're organising for your Cypriot clients?
